This course trains students to safely install and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. It emphasizes hands-on experience with wiring, circuit testing, safety procedures, and the use of modern electrical tools and equipment, preparing learners for employment or self-employment as skilled wiremen.
Basics of Electricity and Electrical Units
Types of Wires, Cables, and Conductors
Wiring Techniques (Residential, Commercial, and Industrial)
Installation of Electrical Fixtures, Switches, and Sockets
Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems
Single Phase and Three Phase Systems
Circuit Protection Devices (MCB, ELCB, Fuses)
Reading and Understanding Electrical Diagrams
Testing and Fault Diagnosis Techniques
Safety Precautions and Electrical Codes
Maintenance of Electrical Installations
Hands-on wiring exercises for homes and workshops
Installation of fans, lights, and electrical panels
Circuit testing and troubleshooting exercises

10th Pass (Science/Technical stream preferred)
ITI or basic electrical knowledge is an advantage

TVVTI (The Vidya Vocational Training Institute).
